Backblaze/S3 - Excessive Storage Use by JB5

We have received some reports of excessive Storage use by JetBackup 5 in the S3 Bucket. Note: We no longer provide technical support for Backblaze[Find out why]. For Backblaze, the likely cause is the default Lifecycle settings for the Bucket will "Keep all versions of a file", which means all versions of an object will be kept indefinitely, increasing storage use.

The correct Lifecycle setting would be "Keep only the last version of the file", so if the same object is replaced by JetBackup only the latest version will be kept.

Bucket Lifecycle Settings - Backblaze

NOTE: JetBackup does not support custom lifecycle rules for S3 Buckets. JetBackup rotates your backups and objects automatically based on your set schedule. Do not use any bucket settings to automatically delete objects.
