How to Check Your JetBackup 5 Version

Overview

This article explains how to determine which version of JetBackup is installed on your server.


Option 1: Check via the Hosting Control Panel (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your Hosting Control Panel as root.

  2. Navigate to JetBackup 5.

  3. The JetBackup version is displayed in the bottom-right corner of the interface.


Option 2: Check via the Command Line

You can also check the version directly from the server.

Run the following command as root:

jetbackup5 --version

 

Example output:

JetBackup - Base 5.3.18.1 | cPanel Panel 5.3.18.1 (Current Tier RELEASE).
