There are some cases where a Directory Restore can cause the partition the restored directory is located to become full. This is because, in order to guarantee the safety and integrity of the system, the Files and/or Directories selected will be restored with a temporary file/directory name at its original location.
For example, when restoring /etc folder, JetBackup will restore it at /etc.jetbackup.xxxx
THE USER IS RESPONSIBLE for completing the restoration process manually.
Please take necessary precautions before restoring core system files and/or directories to avoid any unintended issues with your server.

If for some reason, the file/folder absolutely cannot be restored on its original partition, users may download the backup instead. This will download the backup to the Downloads Directory which is by default located at /usr/local/jetapps/usr/jetbackup5/downloads. This path can then be configured to be located on a different partition to fit the needs of the system by adjusting the path at Download Directory in General Settings.
